Faversham Hop Festival 2026

Kent's biggest free celebration of hops, beer and music returns to the streets of Faversham — live bands, real ale, Morris dancing, street food and family fun across two days.

Held every September since 1990, the Faversham Hop Festival draws tens of thousands of visitors to Kent's oldest market town for a weekend that celebrates the area's hop-growing heritage. Stages across Market Place, Preston Street, West Street and East Street host everything from folk and ska to brass bands, while the town's historic pubs — many pouring Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer, right on the doorstep — spill out into the streets.

This is our independent, up-to-date guide to the festival: the line-up, where to eat and drink, and everything else worth knowing. Bookmark it — we keep it current right through the weekend.
